Armor: All. • Weapons: All, except sling.
- Fighters gain a bonus hit point at levels 1,4, 7, and 10.
- Fighters with Strength 13+ and Dexterity 13+ may dual wield, using a dagger, hand axe, or sword as the second weapon. In a combat round the PC must declare if the second weapon will act as a shield (improving armor class by 1) or to attack and, pending a successful hit, gain an advantage in dealing damage (roll two dice, keep the higher). If undeclared, default to treating as shield.
- Fourth-level and higher fighters may attack a number of 1 or 2 HD monsters equal to their level, to a maximum of eight 1 HD and four 2 HD.
